The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Task Force, led by Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Than Than Swe held a coordination meeting on June 20 to discuss progress on related measures.

At the meeting, officials reviewed Myanmar's implementation of action plans under the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). It was noted that Myanmar remains on the list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring, and the 15th progress report must be submitted with complete data and case evidence.

The meeting also discussed the need for swift action on outstanding items and emphasized collaboration among relevant ministries and agencies to improve reporting standards. Participants also reviewed recommendations from FATF assessors and pledged to submit accurate information from each sector.
